No MVYFL Teams Going to State Playoffs?

Despite ranking high using the matrix on the marylandyouthfootball.com website not a single team from the MVYFL is going on to compete at the state tournament.   TJ, Urbana, Linganore, West Howard, Columbia, Olney, Germantown, Poolesville, Elkridge, Arbutus and more have all entered qualifying teams into the state tournament.    In order to be the best you need to be willing to play the best.    It’s just youth football.   Win or lose it is a wonderful experience for the boys who participate.  Take some advice and go watch a few state playoff games and you’ll see a bunch of boys playing their hearts out on a football field doing what they love to do.  Compete and play ball.

Linganore is Dominating the Varsity Division at multiple levels this year.

Linganore Lancers have 3 teams in the varsity divisions of MMYFCL this year with a combined win loss record of 30 wins and 4 losses.  2 varsity teams have qualified for the Super Bowl finals and will be competing for a championship title this weekend.  Good Luck to both teams.

Urbana Youth Football - Finishing strong this season

Urbana has 5 teams competing in MMYFCL Super Bowl action this weekend.  Good Luck to all of you.

Tuscarora wins JV Div. 1 Super Bowl!

In a big win the Titans defeat the bulldogs 30 - 8 to capture the JV Div. 1 title for the Mountain Valley Youth Football League.  Congratulations Titans for winning at both JV and Varsity.  This is a sign of a strong growing program.

Top Area Varsity Team Showcases Talent

The Tuscarora Titans Win the MVYFL Varsity Super Bowl.  Tuscarora ends the league season with a big win over Gamber in the championship game.  Congratulations to both teams for making the finals and Tuscarora for getting a shutout victory.  Now on to the state championship tournament.
